Groundworker/ Groundwork Ganger

Introduction

We are recruiting for experienced and reliable Groundworkers / Groundwork Gangers to join a well-established groundwork contractor based out of Ross-on-Wye. This is an ongoing opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidates.

The role will involve travelling to commercial groundwork projects, working as part of a skilled and supportive team.

The Role

• Block paving
• Concreting
• Slabbing and paving installation
• Kerb laying
• Drainage works
• General groundwork duties
• Operating tools and small plant safely
• Working efficiently as part of a team

Requirements

• Previous experience in groundworks is essential
• Valid CSCS card
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable Qualifications / Tickets

The following would be highly advantageous:

• Excavator Ticket - CPCS or NPORS
• Street Works (NRSWA)
• NVQ in Groundworks
• First Aid
• Fire Marshal
• EUSR C.A.T & Genny
