Groundworks Foreman

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworks Foreman to join a well-established groundworks subcontractor on a major project based in Newport.

This is a hands-on supervisory role overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise groundworks gangs and subcontractors on site
• Coordinate daily site activities and ensure works are completed to programme
• Carry out site briefings and ensure health & safety standards are maintained
• Monitor quality of works and ensure compliance with specifications
• Liaise with Site Management, Engineers, and subcontractors
• Ensure plant, labour, and materials are effectively managed
• Maintain site records and reports where required

Requirements

• CSCS Gold Card or Black Card – Essential
• SMSTS – Essential
• Previous experience working as a Groundworks Foreman
• Strong knowledge of all aspects of groundworks and civils
• Ability to lead teams and manage site operations effectively
