Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Groundworks Foreman to manage and oversee all groundworks operations on a busy construction project based in Heathrow. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and site supervision, with proven experience delivering groundworks packages including drainage, foundations, and external works.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising groundworks gangs and subcontractors on site
• Managing day-to-day site operations safely and efficiently
• Overseeing all groundworks activities including drainage, foundations, ducting, earthworks, and external works
• Delivery of paving, kerbing, edging, and finishing works to specification
• Reading and interpreting drawings and construction plans
• Coordinating labour, plant, and materials
• Ensuring strict compliance with Health & Safety regulations
• Conducting toolbox talks and site briefings
• Liaising with site management, engineers, and client representatives
• Monitoring progress and reporting updates to senior management

Requirements

• CSCS Gold Card – Essential
• SMSTS – Essential
• First Aid at Work – Desirable
• Temporary Works Co-ordinator – Desirable
• CAT & Genny – Desirable
• Strong background in groundworks, drainage, and external works packages
• Experience delivering paving and kerbing works
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Strong leadership and communication skills
