Axon Moore is partnering with a market-leading manufacturer in East Cheshire to recruit a Group Finance Manager for a high-performing, globally operating business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong finance professional to lead a small team, oversee group accounting, VAT, tax, and audit, drive process improvements, and partner with stakeholders across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Deliver variance analysis and commercial performance insights
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including month-end, VAT, tax, AP/AR, and controls
- Support cash flow forecasting and treasury activities
- Coordinate external audit and ensure financial compliance
- Identify financial risks and drive process improvements
- Lead, coach, and develop a small finance team
- Partner with stakeholders to support strategic business objectives
The Candidate:
- ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Proven experience in a Finance Manager or Group Management Accountant role
- Strong technical accounting, audit, and tax knowledge
- Experience leading and developing finance teams
- ERP systems experience
