Group Financial Controller

West Yorkshire - Flexible Working - 1 day a week in the office 

We’re exclusively partnered with a growing business with global reach as they look to recruit a Group Financial Controller into a key leadership role within their finance function.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, multi-entity group operating across multiple geographies, offering exposure to senior stakeholders, group-level reporting, and ongoing transformation projects.

Reporting into the Group FD, you’ll take ownership of group consolidation, reporting, and control, playing a critical role in ensuring the business delivers accurate, timely and insightful financial information.

You’ll operate at the centre of the finance function, working closely with finance teams and senior leadership to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

• Lead the group consolidation process (actuals, forecasts, budgets and cashflow)
• Prepare and deliver monthly consolidated management accounts to senior stakeholders
• Oversee group reporting, statutory compliance and audit processes
• Ensure accurate and consistent reporting
• Manage intercompany processes and ensure clean balance sheet positions
• Take ownership of acquisition and disposal accounting
• Drive process improvements, controls and reporting efficiencies
• Act as a key contact for external auditors, lenders and board-level reporting
• Support wider finance transformation and automation initiatives

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (ACA preferred)
• Proven experience in a Group Financial Controller or similar role
• Strong background in consolidations within a multi-entity, international environment
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of group structures
• Confident communicator, able to partner with senior stakeholders across the business
