Group Procurement Manager About the Role

At Dornan we are currently recruiting for experienced Group Procurement Manager to lead procurement, supply chain, facilities, and travel operations across a multi-site organisation. Based in our Head Office in Cork reporting  to the Group Procurement Director this is a key role focused on delivering commercial value, driving operational excellence, and ensuring strong governance and supplier performance.

 

Your day to day will include:

  • Lead sourcing, negotiation, and appointment of subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers
  • Drive cost efficiencies and continuous improvement across procurement activities
  • Manage supplier lifecycle, including prequalification, onboarding, and performance management
  • Oversee day-to-day procurement operations and support site-based teams
  • Ensure effective procurement systems, workflows, and material tracking processes are in place
  • Manage facilities, including offices, warehouses, leases, maintenance, and security
  • Oversee company assets, fleet, accommodation, and project-related logistics
  • Manage corporate travel, including supplier negotiation, approvals, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and mitigate supply chain risks
  • Support ESG initiatives, including sustainable procurement and environmental reporting
  • Lead and develop a high-performing, multi-location team

 

What we are looking for:

  • 10 years + experience in a senior procurement/supply chain role
  • Experience in construction or engineering environments is an advantage
  • Strong commercial, negotiation, and supplier management skills
  • Experience managing multi-site operations and complex supply chains
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
