The successful GRP Laminator will play a key role in the production process, working with composite materials to manufacture high-quality GRP components to specification and deadline requirements.
The role would suit an experienced GRP Laminator who takes pride in their workmanship and is confident working within a fast-paced production environment.
As a GRP Laminator, your responsibilities will include:
- Hand lay-up and laminating of GRP products
- Working from technical drawings and specifications
- Preparing moulds and materials prior to laminating
- Trimming, finishing and inspecting completed components
- Ensuring all products meet quality standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Working closely with production teams to meet deadlines
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Previous experience working as a GRP Laminator
- Experience with hand lay-up and composite materials
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of health and safety within manufacturing
- A reliable and hardworking attitude
