Lecturer – Hairdressing & Barbering (Further Education)

Salary: £33,429 – £46,618 per annum (including London Weighting)

I am currently working with a well-established Further Education college in London that is looking to appoint a passionate and experienced Hairdressing & Barbering Lecturer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking department, delivering high-quality teaching to aspiring learners.

The Role:
You will be teaching across a range of Hairdressing and Barbering courses, supporting students to develop both practical skills and industry knowledge.

Requirements:

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Hairdressing
• Assessor qualification (or willingness to work towards)
• At least 3 years’ industry experience in Hairdressing/Barbering
• Previous teaching or training experience within Further Education
• A passion for developing learners and sharing industry expertise

Desirable:

• Teaching qualification (support provided to achieve Level 5 if not already held)
