Handyperson

We are hiring! 

Excellent role with one of the UK's most prominent providers of afforable social housing. 

This role will be on a 3- month FTC. Please see below for details. Must have DBS. 

Role Purpose

The Handyperson will support the Planned Delivery – Voids team by carrying out a range of general maintenance and repair tasks to ensure properties are safe, functional and ready for occupation. The role requires a practical, reliable individual who can work independently and respond to varying maintenance needs across sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repair works including basic carpentry, plumbing, painting and minor electrical tasks
• Complete void property works to required standards and timescales
• Identify and report any defects, health and safety concerns or additional repair requirements
• Use tools and equipment safely and in line with health and safety procedures
• Maintain accurate records of work completed for timesheet and reporting purposes
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors and managers
• Attend the Camden office and designated work sites as required

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in a handyperson, maintenance or similar role
• Good practical skills across a range of building maintenance tasks
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Strong awareness of health and safety requirements
• Good communication and organisational skills

Essential Requirements

• Full UK driving licence (mandatory)
• Ability to work on site  
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
