We seek a skilled leader who is able to join their team on a FTC for 12 months, to ensure that teams are supported and mentored to deliver the best outcomes and support required.
- Lead and oversee the delivery of exceptional care and support services across services across parts of Manchester for adults with learning disability and autism.
- Manage, lead and support a team of House leaders, Care Co-ordinator and Health & Safety experts fostering a positive and professional working environment.
- Ensure the delivery of person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
- Monitor service quality through audits, feedback, implementing improvements where necessary.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and external stakeholders.
- Support with any training and development, recruitment initiatives to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Manage budgets, resources, and operational activities to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice within the organisation.
- Monday to Friday with some flexibility needed over the weekend where required. Full time hours 37.5 per week. Some remote working available.
What you'll bring
- Relevant professional qualification in health and social care (e.g.Level 5 Leadership & Management or equivalent).
- Significant experience in a senior care management role within the adult social care sectors.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent understanding of CQC regulations, compliance standards, and safeguarding procedures.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans and operational policies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships with people being supported and your teams.
- Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and resources efficiently.
- Commitment to person-centred care and continuous service improvement.
- Leadership qualities including resilience, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. A firm but fair leader who is calm, professional and able to work with all people. A good sense of humour!
