PERSON DETAILS – Head of Maths

• Line-management of the other teachers in the Maths department
• Overseeing department CPD (Continued Professional Development)
• Managing the Maths department budget
• Liaising with external tutoring agencies for A-Level maths tuition where appropriate
• Overseeing group distribution and timetabling where appropriate
• Planning key assessment points throughout the year
• Liaising with our exams officer for exam entries
• Tracking student data and supporting interventions if necessary
• Quality assuring Schemes of Work to encourage outstanding teaching across the department
