A market-leading provider within the site accommodation and modular space sector is looking to appoint an experienced and commercially driven Head of Sales to lead and develop its national sales function.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for a high-performing sales professional with a proven background within site accommodation, modular buildings, welfare units, portable cabins, or the wider equipment rental industry.
The business is well established, financially strong, and investing heavily in growth across the construction, infrastructure, industrial and utilities sectors.
The Role
Reporting directly into senior leadership, you will take full ownership of the commercial sales strategy across the UK, leading a national sales team while driving revenue growth, market share and strategic customer development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, developing and motivating a national sales team
- Creating and delivering strategic sales plans aligned to business growth objectives
- Driving new business acquisition across major construction, infrastructure and industrial clients
- Developing key account strategies for national and regional contractors
- Building relationships with senior decision-makers across procurement, operations and commercial teams
- Managing sales performance, forecasting, pipeline activity and KPI delivery
- Identifying new market opportunities and service offerings
- Working closely with operations and senior management to improve customer delivery and retention
- Leading from the front in high-value negotiations and framework agreements
- Supporting long-term growth across both hire and sales revenue streams
The Candidate
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Proven leadership experience within site accommodation, modular buildings, portable welfare, cabin hire or a related rental sector
- Strong understanding of the construction and infrastructure markets
- A track record of delivering significant revenue growth and winning major accounts
- Experience managing high-performing field sales teams
- Commercially astute with strong strategic planning ability
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
- High levels of drive, credibility and leadership presence
- Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational level
