Helpdesk Administrator

Full Time - 37.5 hours per week

Fully Onsite

We are currently recruiting for a Helpdesk Administrator to join a client team based at Midlands Metropolitan University Hospital. This role sits within a busy facilities management environment supporting the delivery of essential services across a large healthcare estate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all maintenance and service requests are logged, managed, and progressed efficiently, providing a high level of customer service and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing incoming calls, emails, and service requests
  • Logging and tracking maintenance jobs through internal systems
  • Allocating work orders to engineers and subcontractors
  • Monitoring job progress to ensure SLA targets are met
  • Providing high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting administrative processes including reporting and purchase orders
  • Assisting with complaint handling and query resolution

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in administration, helpdesk, or customer service roles
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional telephone manner and strong attention to detail
  • Experience within FM, maintenance, or healthcare environments is desirable but not essential

Working Hours:

Shift rota:

  • 7:00am - 3:00pm
  • 11:00am - 7:00pm

Some weekend and bank holiday working may be required.
