About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 ADR Driver (HGV Driver / LGV Driver / Cat C Driver) to join our client based in Dartford, a company operating within the waste services sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for consistent, ongoing work.
As a Class 2 ADR Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely collection and delivery of hazardous waste materials, ensuring all work is carried out in full compliance with ADR regulations, environmental guidelines, and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out collections and deliveries within the waste services operation
- Transporting ADR goods safely in a Class 2 (HGV / LGV) vehicle
- Completing routes efficiently
- Completing all relevant paperwork accurately
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Providing a professional and compliant service at all times
- Valid Class 2 (Cat C) HGV / LGV licence
- Valid ADR licence (in date)
- CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience in HGV / LGV driving, ideally within waste services or hazardous goods
- Good knowledge of driver hours, ADR, and health & safety regulations
- Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious
- Competitive pay rate of £17.50 per hour
- Early start, allowing for an earlier finish
