We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ad hoc night trunking work. This role involves a straightforward trunk run from Crawley to Burton-on-Trent and back, with minimal handballing required.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out trunking deliveries from Crawley to Burton-on-Trent and return
- Ensure timely and safe transportation of goods
- Conduct vehicle checks in line with company and legal requirements
- Maintain accurate records using a digital tachograph
- Adhere to all driving laws and health & safety regulations
Shift Details
- Night shifts available
- Start time: 18:30
- Minimum guaranteed pay: 10 hours per shift
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Minimum 6 months’ Class 1 driving experience
- Valid CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
- Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
