Class 1 Tramper Driver – Preston Area

Aspion Recruitment are currently seeking experienced Class 1 Tramper Drivers for an ongoing opportunity based in the Preston area.

This role is ideal for professional HGV Class 1 drivers looking for consistent, stable work with competitive rates of pay.

Pay Rates
  • PAYE: £17.37 per hour
  • LTD: £19.00 per hour
  • 8-hour minimum guarantee
  • Breaks paid
  • Enhanced weekend rates available
Working Pattern
  • Predominantly Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Sunday
  • Ongoing, long-term work available
The Role
  • General haulage work
  • Curtain-sided trailer operations
  • Tramping duties required
  • Consistent workload with a reputable operation
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Valid Driver CPC qualification
  • Digital tachograph card
  • Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience required
  • Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations
  • Reliable, professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and compliance
