Pyramid Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing ad hoc agency bookings with a leading transport operation specialising in temperature-controlled deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Safe and professional operation of Class 1 refrigerated vehicles
- Completing temperature-controlled deliveries to RDCs, distribution centres, and customer locations
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Monitoring and maintaining temperature compliance throughout deliveries
- Ensuring compliance with Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and company procedures
- Completing all relevant paperwork and POD documentation accurately
Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience with refrigerated or temperature-controlled transport is advantageous but not essential
- Good understanding of driver hours and road transport legislation
- Professional and reliable approach to work
