A well-established and growing general haulage business operating across London and the South East is expanding its transport operation and is looking for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join its professional driving team. Specialising in nationwide distribution of palletised goods, this is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers seeking long-term, consistent work.

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Trunking and RDC-to-RDC deliveries
• Nationwide deliveries across the UK
• No handball – all palletised freight
• Completing all transport and delivery paperwork accurately
• Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and defect reporting
• Operating in line with DVSA regulations and drivers’ hours legislation
• Providing a professional service to customers and distribution partners

Requirements

✔ Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
✔ Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 driving experience
✔ Valid Driver CPC qualification
✔ Valid Digital Tachograph card
✔ No more than 6 penalty points (No DR, DD or IN endorsements)
✔ Good knowledge of UK road networks, especially Greater London and surrounding motorways
✔ Professional attitude and strong safety awareness
