HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver

Location: Peterborough

Temp to perm position.

Pay Rate: £19.00 per hour + £25.00 Night Out Allowance

Tallgrass Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers on behalf of a leading client within the food production industry based in Peterborough

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established operation offering ongoing work and consistent shift patterns.

Available Shift Patterns

  • 4 On / 4 Off
  • 6 On / 3 Off

The Role

  • Operating HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles
  • Transporting food produce nationwide
  • Working with bulk tipper trailers
  • Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
  • Ensuring all transport documentation is completed accurately
  • Maintaining compliance with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations
  • Representing the client in a professional manner

Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
  • Valid CPC Qualification
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous Class 1 driving experience
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points
  • Good understanding of drivers' hours legislation
