Hgv Class 1 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Carlisle area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.

Shifts Schedule: Monday to Friday

Hours/ start times available: alternating daily between 18:00pm & 19:00pm start

Pay Rate : £16.40 per hour PAYE

Location: Carlisle, CA3 0EH

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.

The role:

• Trunking trailers for major parcel companies.
• Routes schedule alternate daily – 18:00pm (Carlisle to Nuneaton back to Carlisle) & 19:00pm (Carlisle to Haydock back to Carlisle)
• Ongoing work with the opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.
• Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service during interactions with customers.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
• 1 years’ experience required
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points on your driving licence (minor offences only).
• Ability to work independently and efficiently on long-haul runs.
• Reliable, professional, and committed to high safety standards.
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
