HGV Class 1 Night Driver – Nottingham Area | Temp to Perm Opportunities

Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 driver looking for a rewarding night shift role in Castle Donington?

We have exciting Temp to Perm positions working on the collection and delivery of aerospace engineering parts. Start your shift between 17:00 - 18:00, with 8 to 10 hours per night. This role suits drivers who prioritise punctual, safe deliveries and enjoy working in a dynamic logistics environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Efficiently and punctually delivering RR Aero engine parts between depots
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting faults immediately
• Using scanners to accurately track and scan freight
• Ensuring load security and compliance with health and safety standards
• Managing night runs with multiple collections/deliveries and reloads
• Acting responsibly with high-value parts, maintaining professionalism

What we’re looking for:

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass CRB checks and provide a full 5-year work history
• Strong knowledge of driving hours regulations and safety standards
• Experience in load security and freight scanning technology
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to night shift driving
