Got People is currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver / Refuse Driver to join our well-established client based in Hemel Hempstead.

This role involves operating a Class 2 refuse vehicle (dustcart) and supporting the loader team as required during collections. It presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 driver seeking consistent, ongoing work with competitive remuneration.

• Operating a HGV Class 2 dustcart / refuse collection vehicle

• Completing scheduled waste and recycling collection routes

• Assisting loaders with collections when necessary

• Ensuring collections are conducted safely and efficiently

• Complying with transport regulations and health & safety procedures

To be considered for this HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver position, candidates must possess:

• At least 12 months’ recent HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving experience

• Experience with dustcart or refuse vehicles preferred (training can be provided)

• Valid UK Driving Licence (Category C)

• Driver CPC qualification

• Digital Tachograph Card

• No more than six penalty points (no DR or IN endorsements)

• Willingness and ability to assist with loading as required

• Reliable, adaptable, and safety conscious

• Monday to Friday: £18.00 – £22.00 per hour (Umbrella)

• Saturday: Weekend uplift available

• Ongoing assignments

• Immediate start available

• Personal protective equipment provided if required (high-visibility clothing, ballistic trousers, safety boots)
