Best Time is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for ongoing temp-to-perm opportunities within a busy retail distribution operation.

Job Description

As an HGV Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to retail stores, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with all transport legislation and company procedures.

Duties Include:

• Store deliveries to retail outlets

• Multi-drop delivery work

• Vehicle checks and defect reporting

• Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on time

• Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach

• Adhering to drivers' hours and working time regulations

Available Start Times

• 00:30 - 03:30

• 02:00 - 05:00

• 10:00 - 14:00

• 16:00 - 19:00

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (Category C) Licence

• Minimum 1 year holding the relevant HGV licence

• Minimum 1 year driving experience in the relevant vehicle class

• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card

• Valid Digital Tachograph Card

• Good communication and customer service skills

• A professional and reliable attitude

• Previous retail or store delivery experience is advantageous but not essential
