HGV Technician – Ayr
Day / Back Shift | £35,000 – £45,000 DOE + Overtime + Bonus + Excellent Benefits + Training & Progression
We are recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to join a modern, fast-paced workshop in Ayr. This is a great opportunity to work with advanced vehicle technology while benefiting from strong training support and long-term career progression.

Working Pattern
- Day / Back shift rotation
The Role
- Service, maintain & repair HGVs
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical & hydraulic faults
- Carry out MOT inspections and safety checks
- Complete accurate service documentation
- Road test vehicles (HGV licence desirable)
- Support breakdowns and workshop operations
About You
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
- Experience working with HGVs or relevant apprenticeship background
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Motivated, reliable, and team-focused
