HGV Technician – Nights – Inverness

We’re recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a modern, well-equipped workshop in Inverness working a 4-night week, offering excellent earning potential and strong work-life balance.

Working Pattern
Monday – Thursday
- 21:00 – 07:15
- 4-night week = great work/life balance
The Role
- Service, maintain & repair HGVs to high standards
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical & hydraulic faults
- Complete MOT prep and safety inspections
- Road test vehicles (where licensed)
- Support breakdowns and field assistance when required
- Maintain accurate digital job records
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
- Support and mentor apprentices where needed
About You
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
- Experience working as an HGV Technician or completed apprenticeship
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Reliable, proactive, and team-focused approach
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop
