HGV Technician – Portsmouth
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per year
Shifts: Various shifts available

Join a reputable HGV dealership in Portsmouth with multiple depots across Southeast England. We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic to perform high-quality servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, maintain, and repair HGVs and trailers to DVSA standards
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and manual checks
• Carry out MOT preparations and inspections
• Repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components
• Complete accurate job cards and maintenance records
• Support the workshop team and minimise vehicle downtime
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Proven HGV Technician experience
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Flexible, safety-conscious, and team player

Desirable:

• HGV Class 1 or 2 Licence
• MOT Tester qualification
