Hours: Workshop open 7:00am - 6:00pm (flexible start times, latest start 8:00am)
The Role
We are looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join a busy, modern workshop. This HGV Technician role involves working on a well-maintained fleet of vehicles with no trucks older than 2020. The successful HGV Technician will carry out servicing, inspections, and repairs in a professional and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMI)
- MOT preparation and inspections
- Routine servicing and running repairs
- General workshop duties
- Minimal trailer work required
- 80% DAF trucks
- 20% Mercedes-Benz trucks
- Modern fleet - no vehicles older than 2020
- Up to £24ph
- Monday to Friday schedule - no weekend work
- Day shifts with flexible start times
- Modern workshop environment
- Stable, full-time HGV Technician position
- Qualified HGV Technician or equivalent experience
- Experience servicing and maintaining commercial vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills as an HGV Technician
- Reliable and team-focused approach
