A well-established and growing Bus Operator is looking to recruit an experienced HGV Technician / PSV Technician to join their engineering team in High Wycombe.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern workshop environment working on a fleet of buses, with strong rates of pay, a great shift pattern, and long-term career stability.
You will be working on a mixed fleet of modern buses including Alexander Dennis, Wrightbus, Volvo, Scania and others.
The Role of the HGV Technician / PSV Technician
- Routine servicing and inspections
- MOT preparation and presentation
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- Mechanical and electrical repairs
- Brake, engine, and suspension work
- Vehicle defect rectification
- Maintaining fleet reliability and availability
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with DVSA and company standards
Requirements of the HGV Technician / PSV Technician
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician, PSV Technician, or Bus Technician
- Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent
- Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience working on buses, coaches, or HGVs
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- IRTEC accreditation beneficial but not essential
- Full UK driving licence preferred
