Duties of a HGV Technician:
  • Conduct diagnostics and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles
  • Perform routine servicing and essential maintenance in line with manufacturer standards
  • Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults efficiently
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all work activities
  • Collaborate effectively within the workshop team to meet targets and deadlines
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification, or equivalent
  • Proven experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach to work
  • Valid UK driving licence; HGV licence is desirable but not essential
