Our client, a leading franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealer group with multiple sites nationwide, is seeking a fully qualified and experienced HGV Technician to join their busy Swindon dealership.

Duties:
  • Perform all service and maintenance tasks to the highest standards within manufacturer timeframes as an HGV Technician
  • Support the workshop team with technical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs
  • Carry out comprehensive diagnosis and repair of vehicle malfunctions as an HGV Technician
  • Document all diagnosis, repairs, and safety inspections accurately
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies, health and safety regulations
  • Provide top-quality customer support, contributing to customer retention
  • Assist colleagues with technical issues and innovations in your role as an HGV Technician
Requirements:
  • Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • At least 1-2 years of practical experience post-qualification as an HGV Technician
  • Strong commitment to quality and efficiency in a busy workshop environment
  • Excellent team player with motivation to meet team targets
  • Proficient diagnostic and repair skills tailored to HGV maintenance
  • An active HGV driving licence is advantageous but not essential
  • Knowledge of commercial vehicle maintenance standards and technical innovations
