HGV Class 2 Driver Required – Darlington

A well-established national plumbing and heating company based in Darlington is currently seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join their team on a temp to permanent basis.

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for driving a Class 2 (HGV2) wagon equipped with a tail lift, delivering plumbing and heating supplies to construction sites within approximately a 2-hour radius of Darlington.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily deliveries to construction sites
• Complete between 10–20 drops per day, depending on route
• Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods
• Use a pump truck for unloading where required
• Undertake some manual handling (handballing) as part of deliveries

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
• No more than 6 points on licence (no DR/DD offences)
• Good knowledge of driving regulations and road safety
• Ability to manage a physically demanding role
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Access to the internet to complete online registration and upload required documents
