Class 2 Driver

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Drivers for ongoing work based in the Aylesford area (ME20).

This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work with shifts currently scheduled through to September, with the potential for continued work into the peak Christmas period and beyond.

Pay Rate

• £20.00 per hour

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• 05:00am – 1:00pm
• Full-day paid induction required prior to starting

The Role

• Multi-drop deliveries to schools, hospitals, hotels, restaurants and other commercial customers
• Typically 12–17 deliveries per day
• Delivering frozen, chilled and ambient food products
• Manual loading and unloading involved
• Drivers will be required to locate and unload products from the vehicle at each delivery point
• No pallet truck or tail lift work involved

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Minimum 6 months' Class 2 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
• Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
• Reliable and professional attitude
