Higher Level Teaching Assistant

A thriving Primary School in Haringey, North London is seeking a talented and ambitious Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026.

This Higher Level Teaching Assistant role offers the perfect blend of classroom teaching and intervention work. The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will teach a Year 5 class when required, lead targeted Maths interventions, and support pupils through focused group work designed to raise attainment.

The school is looking for a confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant who enjoys taking responsibility, can deliver lessons independently, and is passionate about helping pupils achieve their potential.

• Teaching a Year 5 class as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant
• Delivering Maths interventions as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant
• Leading small group learning sessions as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant
• Supporting pupils who require additional academic support
• Working closely with Year 5 teachers and senior leaders
• Monitoring progress and helping pupils close learning gaps

• Full-time role, Monday to Friday
