Smile Education is recruiting a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a friendly and supportive primary school in the Kingswinford area of Dudley.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified HLTA seeking a long-term role with the potential to secure a permanent contract. The school has a strong community ethos, supportive leadership team, and a commitment to helping every child achieve their full potential.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 when required.
  • Lead whole-class learning in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Support pupils through targeted intervention groups and one-to-one support.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to raise attainment and pupil engagement.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
  • Support the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils.
To be considered for this HLTA position, you must:
✔ Hold a recognised HLTA qualification
✔ Have recent experience working within a UK primary school
✔ Be confident leading whole-class lessons independently
✔ Have strong behaviour management skills
✔ Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational abilities
✔ Hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
