Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a Hire Controller/Coordinator to play a key role in supporting our clients’ operations team. 

This is a fast-paced, office-based role — coordinating equipment rental orders, supporting customers, liaising with engineers and ensuring equipment is delivered and collected on time.

What you’ll be doing:

You will be at the heart of the operation, responsible for handling incoming enquiries, coordinating deliveries and collections with drivers and the workshop team, while liaising with customers to ensure a smooth and professional hire experience. Managing availability of equipment and producing hire documentation will also be required. 

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience as a controller/coordinator/planner in a service or operations environment 
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Confident telephone manner and strong customer service skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, reactive environment
  • Good IT and administration skills
