Static HIU & Mechanical Engineer - King's Cross, London
£55,000 + Full Package

We are currently recruiting for a Static HIU & Mechanical Engineer to be based at a prestigious site in King's Cross. The Role:
Working as a static engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, service, and repair of HIUs (Heat Interface Units) and associated mechanical plant across a high-end commercial/residential development.

Package:

  • Salary up to £55,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintenance, and fault finding on HIUs
  • General mechanical maintenance across the site
  • Working on plant room equipment including pumps, valves, and pipework
  • Monitoring and maintaining heating and hot water systems
  • Responding to reactive maintenance issues and breakdowns
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations
  • Liaising with site management and clients

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with HIUs and mechanical systems
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Background in building services / facilities maintenance
  • Relevant mechanical qualifications (desirable)
  • Good communication and customer-facing skills
