Hoist Operative

Exeter, Devon | £18 - £20 per hour | 8am - 6pm | Monday to Friday | 12-Month Contract

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting experienced Passenger/Goods Hoist Operatives to join a large-scale commercial construction project in Exeter.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a high-profile development, with the potential for continued employment beyond the initial phase of the project.

• Operate passenger and goods hoists safely and efficiently.

• Transport site personnel, equipment, and materials across multiple levels.

• Carry out daily pre-use inspections and routine safety checks.

• Report any faults or defects promptly.

• Communicate effectively with banksmen, supervisors, and site teams.

• Maintain high standards of site safety and compliance at all times.

• Previous experience operating passenger/goods hoists on construction sites.

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Hoist Operator card.

• Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures.

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.

• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.

• £18 - £20 per hour.

• 12-month contract.

• Consistent working hours, Monday to Friday, 8am - 6pm.

• PPE and required tools provided on site.
