Meridian Business Support is delighted to be partnering with a leading national healthcare provider to recruit an experienced Nursing Home Manager for a large nursing home in Liverpool.

The Role
As Home Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership, operational management, and commercial performance of the home. You will be empowered to create a positive culture, deliver exceptional resident outcomes, and ensure the service operates to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inspirational leadership to the home's staff team, fostering a culture of kindness, compassion, dignity, and person-centred care.
- Recruit, develop, motivate, and retain a high-performing team committed to delivering outstanding resident experiences.
- Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements, maintaining excellent standards and driving continuous improvement.
- Manage budgets effectively, achieving financial targets while maintaining exceptional care quality.
- Develop local business relationships and implement marketing initiatives to support occupancy growth and enhance the home's reputation.
- Build strong relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals, commissioners, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all governance, quality assurance, and administrative processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement effective action plans.
- Promote a safe, secure, and positive environment for residents, visitors, and colleagues.
- Previous experience as a Registered Home Manager within a nursing home environment.
- A strong understanding of CQC regulations and a proven history of achieving Good or Outstanding inspection outcomes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, occupancy, and operational performance.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional person-centred care.
- The ability to drive service improvement and support future growth opportunities.
- NMC registration is desirable but not essential.
- Relevant management qualifications are advantageous.
- Competitive salary of up to £75,000 per annum DOE.
