This role sits within the Digital team, supporting a well-established Housing function that has already undergone significant digital transformation.

The Role

We’re looking for a technical lead with strong experience across IT business systems, ideally within local government housing.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Working closely with Project Managers / Business Analysts to translate business requirements into system solutions
• Leading on the implementation and optimisation of key housing systems
• Supporting ongoing digital transformation across the service
• Providing specialist knowledge and guidance to the wider team
• Supporting system upgrades, new module implementations, and process improvements
• Liaising with software suppliers and stakeholders to ensure delivery stays on track
• Driving best practice across system use, integration, and adoption

Key Systems / Experience

Experience with the below is highly desirable:

• Total Mobile (Connect, Mobilise)
• Civica (Keystone)
• MRI (Orchard Enterprise & Assets)

Additional experience welcomed:

• Systems migrations and integrations
• Working across both on-premise and SaaS platforms
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Progress OpenEdge databases

• Proven experience working with complex business systems
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to lead technically while supporting and upskilling a team
• Experience within housing / local authority environments (preferred)
• A proactive approach to improving systems and processes
