HR Advisor 

Location: Cheltenham 
Hours: Full Time Monday to Friday 9am until 5.30pm | Permanent 
Salary: Competitive – Based on Experience

Our client is seeking an HR Advisor to provide professional, people-focused support across the business. This role is suited to someone who values integrity, collaboration and delivering fair, practical HR solutions. 

Key Responsibilities of an HR Advisor:

  • Provide first-line HR advice to managers and employees.  

  • Coach managers on fair and consistent decision-making.  

  • Support development and implementation of HR policies.  

  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.  

  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.  

  • Support payroll and employee benefits administration.  

  • Assist with end-to-end recruitment processes.  

  • Monitor HR trends, risks, and legislative changes.  

  • Deliver HR training to managers and employees.  

  • Develop learning materials and support development programmes.  

Key Skills of an HR Advisor:

  • CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualified.  

  • Experience in an HR advisory role within professional services.  

  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.  

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.  

  • Confident advising stakeholders at all levels.  

  • Strong judgement and ability to handle sensitive matters.  

  • High emotional intelligence and self-awareness.  

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability.  

  • Proactive and committed to continuous improvement.
