Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and developing growing business based in Rotherham for a HR Business Partner.

This is a rare opportunity to join a customer-focused organisation where people, culture and service sit at the heart of everything they do. Reporting directly to the Senior Leadership team, you'll play a key role in shaping the colleague experience, driving engagement and building a high-performing culture across the business.

We're particularly keen to hear from experienced HR professionals who have operated within fast-paced, people-heavy environments such as contact centres, customer operations or service-led businesses.

The Role

This is a highly visible role with genuine influence across the organisation. You'll be responsible for developing and delivering a people strategy that supports business growth, improves engagement and retention, and strengthens leadership capability. Alongside the strategic elements, you'll remain close to the day-to-day colleague experience, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and ensuring people initiatives create meaningful impact.  As an SME you'll also be involved in the facilities management and H&S activities of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Senior Leadership Team to shape and deliver the people agenda
  • Lead initiatives focused on culture, engagement, wellbeing and employee experience
  • Use people data and insights to influence decision-making and drive improvements
  • Coach and develop managers to build leadership capability and confidence
  • Lead on complex employee relations matters and provide pragmatic HR guidance
  • Enhance recruitment, onboarding, talent development and succession planning processes
  • Oversee reward, benefits and HR compliance activities
  • Lead and develop a small People team, fostering a proactive and commercial HR approach
  • Take ownership of creating a positive, engaging workplace environment

About You

We're looking for an experienced HR professional who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification as a minimum
  • Proven experience in a HR Manager, HR Business Partner, Head of HR for an SME or similar role
  • Strong generalist HR expertise across the full employee lifecycle
  • A track record of improving culture, engagement and retention
  • Experience handling complex employee relations cases
  • The confidence to influence and challenge at senior leadership level
  • Experience leading and developing teams

Experience within the travel & tourism, hospitality or leisure sectors would be highly advantageous.
