The HR Manager role:

The HR Manager is a stand?alone, hands?on HR professional supporting a growing electrical manufacturing business, operating as the senior HR presence on site while working closely with a central corporate HR function, in a fast-paced environment.

The role combines operational HR delivery, people leadership at site level, and the implementation of corporate HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with group standards while tailoring approaches to the realities of a fast?paced electrical manufacturing environment and embedding a strong performance culture.

You will act as a trusted partner to site leadership, support a mixed shop?floor and professional workforce, and collaborate with HR colleagues across other group sites to embed consistent people practices.

What you’ll need to join us as an HR Manager:

Skills, Experience & Knowledge

Essential

  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in a stand?alone or highly autonomous HR role
  • Background within electrical manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or technical environments
  • Strong employee relations experience with confidence managing cases independently
  • Experience supporting shop?floor and salaried employee populations
  • Strong understanding of UK employment legislation
  • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and operational leaders
  • Comfortable operating independently while working within corporate structures

Desirable

  • Experience working within a group, or multi?site organisation
  • Exposure to organisational growth, change, or integration
  • Experience embedding corporate initiatives at site level
  • HRIS experience
