HSE Advisor

📍 Inchcape Onshore, EH32 9SF (Onsite)
💰 Up to £500 per day (Outside IR35)
📅 Contract: 6 Months (Initial)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site EHS Advisor to support operations on a major onshore site located in Inchcape (EH32 9SF). This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and knowledgeable health, safety and environmental professional to join a fast-paced project on an initial 6-month contract, offering a highly competitive day rate up to £500 (Outside IR35).

This role is site-based full-time, therefore applicants must be within a commutable distance to Inchcape.

• Provide expert EHS advice and support to site management and workforce
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation and company procedures
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Support the development and implementation of safe systems of work
• Lead and participate in incident investigations, ensuring lessons learned are communicated
• Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across site
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to EHS standards

• NEBOSH Diploma (essential)
• Proven experience in a Site EHS / HSE Advisor role, ideally within construction, energy, or industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation
• Experience working in onsite, high-risk environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and influence positive safety behaviours

• Contract Length: Initial 6 months
• Location: Inchcape Onshore, EH32 9SF (Full-time onsite)
• Day Rate: Up to £500 per day
• IR35 Status: Outside IR35
