HVAC Engineer

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer for a static site in Coventry. This is a temporary position initially for 6 weeks, with potential for extension based on performance and business needs.

Monday to Friday/ 40 hrs a week 

£24-26ph via umbrella

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and general HVAC servicing within a commercial environment.

As an HVAC Engineer, you will be carrying out:

• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on HVAC systems and associated plant
• Reactive maintenance and fault-finding on HVAC equipment
• Servicing and maintenance of AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems, and associated components
• Diagnosis and repair of HVAC system breakdowns in a timely manner
• Basic repairs and adjustments to ensure optimal system performance
• Ensuring all maintenance work is completed in line with site procedures and compliance standards
• Recording and updating maintenance logs and service documentation
• Liaising with site management regarding ongoing issues or required repairs
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times

As an HVAC Engineer, you will need:

• Valid F-Gas certification (essential)
• City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Mechanical Engineering
• Proven experience in HVAC maintenance (PPM and reactive)
• Strong technical and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently in a static site environment
