Summary:

• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: 6 months with potential for extension and perm opportunities!
• Location: Marston Green, Birmingham B33
• Pay Rate: £21.43 per hour plus shift allowance once trained
• Hours: 37 per week Monday to Friday….early finish on Fridays!

What You'll Do:

As a Hydro-Mechanical Technician, your core responsibilities will include:

• Building and Evaluating:Engage in the assembly and testing of hydromechanical fuel systems, including Fuel Metering Units, Fuel Pumps, and various military products.
• Team Collaboration:Work closely with a diverse team of technicians, contributing to a culture of openness and shared success.
• Problem Solving: Utilise your analytical skills to tackle repairs and troubleshooting challenges.
• Process Improvement:Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing operational processes and efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and characteristics:

• Education:Qualified to HNC/HND Degree level in Hydro-mechanical Engineering or have relevant experience.
• Experience:Previous aerospace engineering experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• Attention to Detail:A meticulous approach to work is essential, ensuring quality in every task.
• Adaptability:Ability to cope with new demands and solve unexpected problems effectively.
• Communication Skills:Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a team or independently.
• Technical Knowledge:Familiarity with mechanical and fluid systems, as well as manufacturing processes, is a plus.
