Your responsibilities as Hygiene Operative
  • Clean production areas, machinery, and equipment to strict hygiene standards
  • Follow Cleaning Instruction Cards (CIC) using correct chemicals and equipment
  • Maintain hygiene across floors, walls, drains, machinery, and communal areas
  • Ensure full compliance with COSHH and chemical handling procedures
  • Complete and sign off daily, weekly, and scheduled cleaning records
  • Support hygiene verification processes including swabbing and validation checks
What we’re looking for in a Hygiene Operative
  • Previous experience in hygiene, cleaning, or food production environments
  • A full, UK driving licence (essential)
  • Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe chemical handling
  • Experience following structured cleaning schedules and compliance processes
  • Ability to work with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Understanding of hygiene standards within a manufacturing setting
Working hours – both day & night shifts are available and can be discussed upon application.
