We are looking for a passionate and motivated Industrial Cleaning Tutor to join the Industries Department at HMP & YOI Peterborough. In this rewarding role, you will support learners in developing practical industrial cleaning skills while helping to improve employability, confidence, and rehabilitation outcomes. Working as part of a dedicated Education, Skills & Work team, you will deliver engaging accredited and non-accredited training programmes that encourage participation, achievement, and personal development.

Main Responsibilities
Deliver engaging industrial cleaning training sessions to diverse groups of learners.
Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons using effective schemes of work and lesson plans.
Support learners in achieving accredited and non-accredited qualifications.
Monitor learner attendance, progress, and achievement, providing regular feedback and support.
Promote a positive learning environment that encourages confidence, self-esteem, and rehabilitation.
Ensure compliance with prison security, health & safety, and safeguarding procedures at all times.

The Ideal Candidate
Experience delivering industrial cleaning training or working within the cleaning industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate learners.
Passion for rehabilitation, education, and supporting individuals to achieve positive outcomes.
Flexible, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and adapt teaching methods to individual needs.
Teaching qualification, assessor qualification, or experience within a prison environment would be advantageous.
Package Description
From £32,987.47 - £38,801.01 depending on qualifications and experience
37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday
