20 x Industrial Electrician – Battery Storage Farm
We are currently looking for experienced Industrial Electricians to join our team working on a large-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within the fast-growing renewable energy sector on a high-profile battery storage farm installation.
Job Responsibilities
- Installation of industrial cabling systems
- Glanding and terminating power and control cables
- Connecting battery units and associated equipment
- Installation of containment systems including tray, trunking, and conduit
- Reading and working from electrical drawings and schematics
- Testing and inspection of electrical installations
- Working safely in line with site and industry regulations
- Supporting commissioning activities where required
Requirements
- Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 / 18th Edition or equivalent)
- ECS / JIB Gold Card preferred
- Previous industrial or renewable energy experience advantageous
- Experience with battery storage, substations, solar farms, or heavy industrial projects preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
Details
- Rate £20 - £26 per hour dependant on remuneration method
- 12 hour days
- Minimum 1 month contract
- Immediate starts available
- Accommodation allowance/travel allowance is available depending on location
