Location: Based in Leeds Workshop & Client Sites (UK)
Employment Type: Permanent, Full‑Time
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop / Site Electrician to join our team on a permanent basis. This role will involve a mix of workshop‑based electrical work and on‑site installation, maintenance, and fault‑finding activities across industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities- Electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, and testing of equipment and systems
- Panel building, modifications, and fault diagnosis within a workshop environment
- Site-based electrical works including commissioning and breakdown support
- Working safely in high‑risk industrial environments, including COMAH sites where applicable
- Compliance with relevant health & safety legislation, regulations, and company procedures
- Accurate completion of job documentation, test records, and reports
- Liaising with engineers, supervisors, and clients to ensure work is completed to specification and programme
- Fully qualified electrician (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- Proven experience in industrial or commercial electrical environments
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexible approach to working between workshop and site locations
- COMAH site experience
- Water Industry experience (e.g. pumping stations, treatment works, MCC panels, SCADA interfaces)
- CompEx, ECS/CSCS, or equivalent safety cards
- Inspection & Testing qualifications
