The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Information Controller to join a growing modular construction business delivering innovative offsite projects across the UK.
This role will act as the central hub for project information management, ensuring all documentation, drawings, models and project data are controlled, distributed and maintained accurately throughout the project lifecycle.
A strong understanding of ISO 19650, BIM information management and Common Data Environments (CDEs) is essential, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced Document Controller or Information Controller looking to join a modern, BIM-led construction environment.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for:
- Managing project documentation and drawing control processes.
- Maintaining and administering the Common Data Environment (CDE).
- Managing document workflows, approvals and version control.
- Ensuring compliance with ISO 19650 information management standards.
- Registering, receiving, logging, distributing and archiving project documentation.
- Supporting project teams with information distribution and reporting.
- Administering Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and SharePoint platforms.
- Supporting O&M manuals, Health & Safety files and project handovers.
- Providing support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders on information management processes.
- Producing reporting on document status, workflows and user activity.
About You
- Experience as a Document Controller or Information Controller within construction.
- Strong understanding of ISO 19650 and BIM information management principles.
- Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Viewpoint, Dalux, Aconex, Procore or similar CDE platforms.
- Strong document control, auditing and version management experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management ability.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
